In the theme of Thanksgiving, I have contributed a post to the awesome website, MomRenewalProject, discussing Being Grateful.
What have you learned about Being Grateful? Have you always been grateful, or did you make the decision to become grateful?
Please comment at MomRenewalProject, and let us know, it's always so interesting to see how people arrive at an "attitude of gratitude."
And, thank you, I am grateful for every one of you. I wish you knew how sincere I am about that comment. Because I truly am.
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope to see you here.

ReplyDeleteI am grateful for you too! All of the blogs I read and people who follow me; I'm sure they don't believe I'm sincere when I say it, but I am!!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I get so caught up in my disappointments and frustrations, that I forget to be grateful. And then I stumble across stuff like this, and realize that my life is actually awesome (even when it isn't perfect). Thank Empress, I'm heading over right now.
ReplyDeleteHow are truly, wonderfully so magically good all of the time?

ReplyDeleteInspiring us all to be better people - thank you, Empress! And I am grateful for you. But I'd be even more grateful if I were stuffing my face with your truffles. I can't get those damn things out of my head.
ReplyDeleteThat was a wonderful post. And I am grateful for you also. For your support of my shloppy entrance into the blogging world.

ReplyDeleteThankful for the smiles you always bring!
I loved your post, Alexandra, and I'm grateful you have this space to express yourself, as well. I'll always want to read what you have to say and I have always thought that it is a positive place to visit.
ReplyDeleteYou just whipped that off lickity split didn't you? You do know we will have to meet in person. Because I have a theory I need to prove. I think there are more of you than just one. I think you just might be triplets.... thats my story and I'm sticking to it!

Hello again Not Mother of the Year! Thank you so much for supporting The Girl Next Door's contest!
ReplyDeleteWe all need to make a point to show our gratitude every day. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI really liked your post! It really got me thinking. I sometimes struggle with this, but I'm learning! :)
ReplyDeleteOprah has taught me to be more consciously and intentionally grateful. It is a good thing. Never too much gratitude in the world. In fact, I am very proud that my tag cloud on my blog - the biggest most used tag is "gratitude." I am grateful right now for good sleep this weekend, sitting side by side with my husband on the couch (even though we both have lap tops on our laps) while our maniac naps. It feels nice.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet post! I'm grateful for my followers, too. I'm grateful for a lot of things--I must do a post on this soon.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, awesome guest post, Alexandra, as always :) I left you some bloggy love. I feel the same way, too.
ReplyDeleteHope your week is off to a great start!
It is a beautiful post! Every day, even under the worst conditions there is always something for which to be grateful. It's all a matter of perspective and some days it might be something as simple as ice water on a hot summer day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting!
heading there now!
ReplyDeleteAttitude of gratitude...something I've been thinking about, and writing about lately. Glad to have found you on Twitter! (via @erinlynn76) :) Pamela
