Being Grateful: Mom Renewal Project Post

In the theme of Thanksgiving, I have contributed a post to the awesome website, MomRenewalProject, discussing Being Grateful.

What have you learned about Being Grateful? Have you always been grateful, or did you make the decision to become grateful?

Please comment at MomRenewalProject, and let us know, it's always so interesting to see how people arrive at an "attitude of gratitude."

And, thank you, I am grateful for every one of you. I wish you knew how sincere I am about that comment. Because I truly am.

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope to see you here.

  6. Sometimes I get so caught up in my disappointments and frustrations, that I forget to be grateful. And then I stumble across stuff like this, and realize that my life is actually awesome (even when it isn't perfect). Thank Empress, I'm heading over right now.

  22. Oprah has taught me to be more consciously and intentionally grateful. It is a good thing. Never too much gratitude in the world. In fact, I am very proud that my tag cloud on my blog - the biggest most used tag is "gratitude." I am grateful right now for good sleep this weekend, sitting side by side with my husband on the couch (even though we both have lap tops on our laps) while our maniac naps. It feels nice.

  25. It is a beautiful post! Every day, even under the worst conditions there is always something for which to be grateful. It's all a matter of perspective and some days it might be something as simple as ice water on a hot summer day.

    Thanks for posting!
