I have no idea what the writing said?
ReplyDeleteI just love anything with George in it. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteshameless George spot...haha
ReplyDeleteOh George, thanksmfor the view and the laugh.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything that man can't do?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've never had that kind of luck!
ReplyDeleteI would watch George Clooney watch paint dry, so this was a great way to start off my Friday. Woo-hoo!
ReplyDeleteIsn't this actress a Drew Barrymore lookalike? She's Danish, and this commercial has everything: the unmarrying George Clooney that she somehow gets..things that will NEVER happen.
ReplyDeleteSo, yeah, save your own money is right.
OMFG!!!! Hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteJust realized did I totally steal your "Friday Funny" and turn it around to "Funny Fridays" and think you wouldn't notice because I'm totally a backstabbing harpy like that (or brain dead - also a very real possibility)? Holy crapola! I'm sorry!
Even my husband was laughing over this one!
ReplyDeleteWas she the actress in Man Cold? Anyone know what I'm talking about?
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. And what the hell DID ever happy to The Mayor?
ReplyDeleteYou know because it's Hollywood they aired that clip over and over all day every day on all LA news and entertainment shows.
ReplyDeleteIt was hilarious but ask me how many DUMB ASSES IN THE NEWS kept calling her an "unattractive" woman? Now, was that necessary? I think not.
I have seen this too coincidentally via another Joann (http://blog.joannross.com/) of Romance Writing from the Edge.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved it. It almost feels like deja vu except they've cast me incorrectly.
George and those Danes - they're tight like that. What a fantasy, right? I mean, it's everyone's dream to live in Liljastrom.
ReplyDeletexo
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!! I loved this soooooo much. x
ReplyDeleteThat was hilarious! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOMG! That is SO Funny! I think I'm going to post this and watch it again....
ReplyDeleteFlutter, Sigh, George, Sweet George.
ReplyDeleteI just found out more about this commercial. I guess the actress was blasted.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it, I think she's adorable.
Who knows what Hollywood sees that I don't.
She is angelic.
And her reactions: perfect throughout.
I don't get it either. I think she's beautiful. If they would've had some cookie-cutter model in there with forgettable looks, she wouldn't have been nearly as interesting.
ReplyDeletethis was pretty funny:) clooney couldn't keep a straight face. he almost laughed it seemed.
ReplyDeletethanks for your thoughtful comments at my place:)
OMG, *drooooool*. I love me some Clooney and this was hysterical. I'm disgusted that anyone would say anything negative about the woman in the clip--I think she's absolutely adorable and totally agree that she's a Barrymore lookalike.
ReplyDeleteMan, what I wouldn't give to wake up in her shoes :)
The actress's expression is priceless. Loved it! So funny that American actors will do commercials like this in foreign markets, but not for the U.S. (Seinfeld's Superman commercials for AmEx are not the same as George Clooney in an investment commercial).
ReplyDeleteMan, if I had a nickel for every time I'd woken up to that...
ReplyDelete*shakes empty change purse*
Dammit.
A.
I like that they made her "real life" gorgeous instead of celeb gorgeous. That is specifically what makes it funny. If it was a celeb gorgeous women we wouldn't all be thinking ME TOO OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YES ME TOO.
ReplyDeleteI've laughed all weekend watching this!
ReplyDeleteOMG that is so wonderfully random. Is her gigantic boob almost falling out of the robe or is it my imagination?
ReplyDeleteCute.
ReplyDeleteSo clever. Well done, whoever created this. And well done, you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteoh holy cats that's just priceless. and really what IS it about that Clooney? I'm now willing to fly to whatever country that is with the weird circles over the letters to open a savings account, just b/c he smiled. Is it the smile? the wrinkles? the gray hair? the ironic dimples? swoon swoon swoon
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Not too bad waking up next to him :)
