I met Renee through Julie C Gardner [byanyothername], so I knew she'd walk the king of content walk. This English teacher runs a series of guest posts on Fridays worth following. It's called #Lessons Learned; and they're not always lessons from the classroom.
I hope you click over and meet Renee, and read about how sometimes things seem ethereally familiar to us for a reason.
Have a wonderful Friday!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating story my friend! xo
I love that you two have come into each other's lives and that this post came to be as a result.
ReplyDeleteYou inspire me to wrote about my own roots someday. I have been hesitant in the past to dive in because my story isn't just mine to share - if that makes sense. Other people are entwined and I never want to compromise another person's privacy.
Still, my family is wonderful - and there is much love and craziness and confusion there to mine.
Someday. Hopefully soon.
Thanks for the inspiration, my friend.
Oops. Inspire me to WRITE not wrote. Silly iPhone.
DeleteHuh? Okay. Boo. My other comment got lost. I think you know what I am trying to say anyway.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do. Because I just failed here miserably. Thanks for the inspiration.
Always.
Don't recall this specifically, but do know that many Jewish people changed their names to escape persecution. I always consider any information I'm able to find on my ancestors to be such a gift!
ReplyDeleteDo you watch "Who Do You Think You Are" ? I love it!
