ReplyDeleteI thought of you this weekend...I went away with a girlfriend, my first trip without husband and/or child in well over 10 years. At breakfast this morning we saw several tables of preschool children...their families were all there for the Thomas the Train amusement park. Between thinking about you and Alec and missing my own child it was all I could do to not burst into tears. I just kept thinking how "forever" childhood and young motherhood had felt when my kid was 3 or 4.
